Okay, okay. I know. I'm late with this review. I'm sorry! Life has taken over. And I'm a little upset with life about this because, HELLO, I HAVE BOOKS TO READ! Doesn't real life know that the fictitious world of books takes priority? Ugh...anyway. ... let's get to this little nugget of a book.

I feel like I sat down after finishing this book and my jaw was temporarily affixed to the floor. I felt a lot like this...

I swear Tia sat down and made an outline of everything she could do that would surprise the crap out of us, in a not so good kind of way. How many different ways can she torture us or her characters...sheesh.. I mean... Don't ever get on her bad side! The weird part is.. I liked it. Oh dear...

I am just so shellshocked. I'm happy, sad, appalled, angry, but also in love with Cal and Zee's story. I think mostly, I'm so happy with how Cal changed. The man he grew into for her. The things he did for her. The lengths he went to to keep her safe. Though I am kinda surprised about the guard dude. Way to throw in yet another twist there Tia. It was like book twister... twists and turns everywhere. everytime something happened to Zee, I was like...

I think what really surprised me what that Tia took people that I really did not like from book one, and I actually liked them. Like I said.. twists and turns. Twists. and. Turns. Surprise surprise surprise.

I love Tia's writing style. And PFAP did not disappoint. I was sucked in and didn't put it down until it was over . Yet another fabulous book by this amazing author.
