I feel gutted right now. So emotionally raw. Like a live wire. Or maybe even the finest of glass. Like if someone touched me I might break. I don't know how Coleen did this or why I'm reacting so emotionally but I feel like I'm about to cry. Like I'm about to have a breakdown. I feel like I just lived through something traumatic. Colleen's words, her book, this book, for me, was like living through a movie of someone I knew. It was so vivid. So strong. So realistic. So .... Incredible.
I don't know if I can put into words how I feel about this book. I don't know if I can relay it properly. I don't know if my words can adequately describe how I feel about this book. I know that my words are no where near as well used as Coho's.
This book isn't just an emotional roller coaster. Well, it is, but it's so much more. It's heartbreaking and beautiful. Full of sorrow and misery and strength and beauty. Self depreciation and self appreciation. It's growth and pain. It's so many things you wouldn't expect. Plot twists you wouldn't expect. Good surprised and bad. This book, is by far, one of CoHos best work ever. Absolutely hands down addicting and amazing.
