this was a great 4.5 star read for me and let me break it down for you just why that is.
first, can I just say how spot on and amazingly this cover fits this story?!? I mean, its literally the perfect Randy.
okay moving on... the humor. Helena has done am amazing job with this Romantic Comedy. there were so many times during the story where humor could fall flat, but it didn't. and humor not only from Lily or Balls, bit we have drunk Violet to laugh at again. really any time the girls get together and alcohol is involved.
"that was too far wasn't it" "yeah baby" he nods. "you saw the line and bulldozed right over it."
there were times when one of the characters literally had me chuckling out loud. people always look at you funny when they don't know why you're laughing.
it wasnt only the humor that made me rate this 4.5 stars. it was also the emotional aspect of it. how Lily helped Randy with his insecurities, but also how he helped her with the same. but it was how they did it. how they helped build each other back up.
I loved how Helena makes me laugh while reading a book, but I also find myself randomly smiling too. I just think the flow, writing style, storyline and delivery were spot on. another great book in a fabulous series.
