Step by Step---This is my first read by this author and I was not disappointed! Lukas is a sexy man with a cocky attitude who thinks he's every woman's dream. Elena is a beautiful woman with a take charge attitude who doesn't take any crap from anybody. I love how she tells what's on her mind and what she thinks. Their attitudes constantly clash which hopefully will lead them to a steamy romance. This first installment in the series ends in a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see what the second installment has in store for Lukas and Elena!!
Hour by Hour---I have just finished the second installment in this series and have so many mixed emotions. Let me start by saying, that none of these mixed emotions deterred me from finishing or not have me anxiously waiting for the next book! Lukas and Elena can make you angry, excited, confused and happy within a blink of an eye, and it definitely makes you want to read more just to see how their story unfolds. When you are hoping and waiting for a happy ending that you aren't sure is even going to happen definitely will put you on edge. That's a part of the reason why this book is good, you don't have any idea what will happen next. I got so excited when I thought there may be a breakthrough in their steamy on and off occasional hookups, but was still left with an it may not happen feeling. I didn't want to put the book down because I was constantly trying to guess what was coming next and wanting to read to see if I guessed right. This book ends in a cliffhanger as well and I cannot wait to see what will happen with Lukas and Elena in the next one!
