❤ FOR 100 REASONS by Lara Adrian Audioreview ❤

Billionaire Dominic Baine stepped into Avery Ross’s life when it was at its lowest. Obsessed with the beautiful, struggling artist, Nick was determined to have her. What began as a scorching seduction soon burned out of control, exploding into a white-hot passion neither of them could deny.

Yet Nick and Avery are two damaged people, both haunted by dark secrets with the power to destroy them. And for Nick, the ugly past that shaped him cannot compare to the unforgivable deception that drives Avery from his arms, from his life. Now the man accustomed to having everything he desires must find a way to redeem himself to the only woman he has ever loved.

Avery Ross has known heartbreak. She has known betrayal and loss, but nothing like the pain that loving Dominic Baine has brought into her life. Reeling from the aftermath of his devastating revelation, instead of allowing despair to break her, she builds herself into something stronger—the fearless woman and gifted artist that Nick’s passion has taught her to be. Yet her heart is in pieces, and despite everything she has, the one thing she needs is the man whose possessive desires and consuming love holds the power to either save them both or shatter her forever. . . .

FOR 100 REASONS is the sensual, suspenseful conclusion to the acclaimed 100 Series from New York Times and #1 international bestselling author Lara Adrian. Don't miss the first two books, FOR 100 DAYS and FOR 100 NIGHTS, available now.

I adored the first two books in this series, so my expectations were high for the 3rd book in the trilogy. However, to me, this fell short.. It felt like these two got on the easy train and never got off. The first two books had plenty of steam and drama, but I felt like the drama was short on this one, it was missing. There wasn't much that kept me on the edge of my seat like the other two books. Don't get me wrong, there was some angst and plenty of steam, but that was really all I got from this. It didn't feel like the end of the trilogy, it just felt like a romance story. Which is good I suppose, it just made it fall short for me.

I did like the steps that Nick was making for her. I also liked how she had the backbone to point out what she wanted and deserved and when he was falling short in their relationship. So when it came to the characters, it was a good read. They grew, independently and together. And Nick leaned on her when he found out the truth about his dad, and when the nights were too much. She showed him how strong she was, and how he was okay to need her and it didn't make him weak, that it was okay to need her. I really liked those changes in their relationship.

It was just the rest, I needed more. Not just heat, not just steam, not just sex and fighting. I needed some drama. I needed more.

All in all this was a good book and a good ending to the trilogy. Still a great trilogy that is highly recommended

I did also like the narrators. When the male did a female voice, it was a little cheesy, but not enough to take away from the story. I really really loved the female narrator. She is one of my favorites, I love her work. And the male was great as well, just maybe  not so much when he had to play the part of the female characters.
