I am going to review this series as a whole, since I listened to all the books back to back. 

Every now and then I get on this kick where I need an overly sweet romance, where I guaranteed the happily ever after .. This is exactly what you get with this series. You get that instant love, tooth ache, type of story. And for once, this is exactly what I was craving. 

In each story, you get two people whom you don't think should fit, but who's chemistry is off the charts. Whether they know each others identity or not, the pull between them is undeniable. Whether its a CEO, a prince, or a rich bachelor, the ladies don't really know who they're dealing with at first. Then surprise surprise, the truth comes out and they're all dumbfounded. 

My only complaint is this. With each book, we have a villain, obviously. The one that stands out the most to me, probably because it was the most recent is the Queen. There are so many things that she does that are just horrible , selfish things. And yet, at the end, when we could be given a resolution to this horrible woman and her actions, it's just brushed under the rug. She is just going to stay somewhere else. Yet, the King, who you come to care for, is just supposed to be okay with it? How she treated Sabrina, in front of people, we're just supposed to be okay with it because they had words? There is never any resolution or punishment to the villains in any of the stories. That is my only complaint.

The narrators in each story was amazing. They really brought the sweet, unblemished side of each woman to life. And when you do that, when you bring them to life, it makes it so much easier for the readers to get sucked in and not want to put the story down. 

The series gets 4 stars from me.

i have recently found this author and realized that she is becoming one of my reliable authors . looking for something you have maybe not heard about, but from an author you rely on, and read/listen anyway? that's a reliable author, and that's what A Zavarelli has become to me.

I'm not normally a fan of the back and forth, especially when I know emotions are involved for one of our characters, so you know they're going to get hurt. it's almost like you go in on eggshells, because you're just cautious of when it's going to happen. we can see this one coming from a mile away.

while I did find some of the storyline obvious, I really liked the way it unfolded. being single, I automatically related to the dating app aspect. I loved how Dare kept secrets from her all this time. and while we think we know why, we don't really know . we don't know all of it. . . until we do. then all that hate you have building up toward Dare is really misdirected, and hate isn't what we should be feeling at all.

there was only one thing that didn't jive for me. so Dare has to take her shopping to help her wardrobe. yet, when she has enough and walks away, she shows up days later in new clothes and a new attitude. how did that happen? how'd she change so quickly without his help? that part I didn't catch. other than that, these two have such a hate *uck, I really love you relationship. and he makes you mad and pushed all my buttons when he was trying to break her . then when they talk about the past, I started to take all those feelings of frustration and direct them to Ryan, exactly where they belonged. part of me was kind of hoping That Guy was really him, after faking his death so long ago, just so they could put him in his place and kill him themselves. then after realizing I thought that, I kind of wonder if I need therapy. :/

and when Graciela stepped in, it was like my momma bear instincts stepped in. why in the world does every one shit all over this girl and treat her like trash when she didn't do anything wrong? see----> momma bear.

the storyline on this was great. I am not too much of a fan of this narrator. there is just something about her narration and pronunciation, it's overly breathy and it's just not my cup of tea. because I'm not a fan, it does pull me from the story. but I like this author enough to know I need to stick it through bc the story is totally worth it . I wasn't wrong here.

So I've never read Kennedy Ryan before, and I had never heard of Grip before. It came up from the library as "a book you may like." So I thought what the heck, I'm still trying to read new authors I've never heard of before, I'll give this a try. 

Ladies. Gents. Readers. Book Lovers. Stop what you are doing. Stop..What..You..Are..Doing...

You need to read this book. Or as I did, you need to listen to this audio. The audio was hands down one of the best I've listened to this year. I've listened to other books that Maxine has narrated, but this was the first I've listened to by Jakobi Diem. These two together.. Spectacular narrating duo. Hands down, I think the best female/male narrating pair I've heard this year. They did great things with this story and really brought it to life. The feelings felt real, the chemistry came to life, the love, it was all there. 

And the story, my GOD, this was ahhhmaaaayyyyzzzingggggg.

I feel like this was one of those books where I want to stand on the rooftop, or fly a banner in the air telling everyone who will listen how good this book is. I'm so glad I picked this up. Kennedy is a fantastic storyteller. She wrote this story that just sucked me in and I was not going to stop this until the story was over. Once it started , I didn't want it to ever end. Like, at all. once you read this you will want more Bristol and Grip. These two are electric!

And the music that we get, granted not actual music, but the lyrics make this book even more. Music, love, romance, angst, heartbreak, drama. GAH. AMAZING.

5 stars guys, 10, 15, infinite stars!

God i loved this story so much. And part of me thinks i loved it so much because these narrators were spectacular . Not only were the narrators fabulous, combine that with an amazing storyline and this resulted in a fabulous book. I am in love with Tristan's storyline. He was so hard and cold to Sid, and slowly we find out their history from when they were younger to now. We find out what Sid has been hiding and why, and how it affected all the Pierce brothers. 

There was a large part of me that wanted to not like Sidney for what she did. But when we find out why, when we get the glimpses into their past, I can't help but think she did the right thing. Especially with how Tristan reacts when he finds our her secret. I was so in love with him when he started opening up to her again, until then. Then I wanted to hate him, but again I couldn't do it. There were so many emotions I wanted to feel, things that I knew normally I would (I hate keeping secrets in books), but I didn't feel them. Jennifer managed to make me think outside my normal emotional box. She gave me so many reasons, so much depth to these characters, that I couldn't react how I normally would. I also couldn't walk away. I didn't want to stop this audio. Any time I could take a minute to turn it on and see what was going on between Tristan and Sidney I did. You add in the cat fight drama llama at the Ballet and I was all in. Especially when Sidney's little cat claws would come out. Who doesn't love this woman? and who doesn't love her with Tristan!? These two just burn up the sheets when they are together. 

Can we discuss when the truth hits Tristan. When his eyes open. When he realizes he may not have been seeing their past quite as it was. I just wanted to reach into my audiobook and smack him. All this time. All this pain. But it also made me think, reflect, how often do we look at the past through our own eyes and how we view things went down, instead of eyes wide open? 

This book had it all, surprises, drama, heat, history, growth, love, just everything that you really want from a romance book.
