❤ BAD FOR YOU by J Daniels 4.5 star review ❤

Shayla Perkins isn’t the kind of girl who makes the same mistake twice, especially when it comes to Sean “Stitch” Molina. So when he gives her the world’s biggest rejection, that’s it—she’s done. Until the sexy, silent, unavailable Sean makes Shay a very personal offer. Of course, it still doesn’t mean he’s interested in her. Or does it?

Sean has done things in life. Bad things. And he’s paid the price. All he wants now is to make up for his past by doing good in the present. And no one deserves more good than Shay. Beautiful on the inside and out, Shay is the kind of woman who should be cared for and protected—especially from a man like Sean. He’s tried to keep his feelings for her in check, but a single, reckless impulse pulls them closer than ever before.

Soon the two are sharing their biggest dreams and satisfying their deepest desires. But what will happen if the only way to truly give one another want they want most . . . is to let each other go?

I love the way J Daniels writes her male leads. Every time I read her books, it takes me back to that feeling I get of reading a KA alpha. With reading Stitch, or Sean, it was no different. He was much more damaged and hurt than our previous characters, but definitely still so much an alpha. And while Stitch is the silent broody type for quite some time, Shayla is the sunshine, smiling personality that brightens his dark days. Something he doesn't realize he needs and craves until it hits him like a box or rocks. It was like once he realized how much he needed her, and NEEDED is the key. Hell yeah, he wants her, but he NEEDS her. And once he finally accepts that, there's no going back. Shay, she's all too happy to oblige.

I loved the relationship that developed between Sean and her brother. And Good Book Gods, let's be honest here, that boy needed a darn outlet. He was making me want to pull a dont-make-me-turn-this-car-around mom moment. I get it. They were all adjusting to the news, all adapting how they could, and he's a young boy. But good lord, it made the mom in me come out.

Then we have the friendship between Shay and well, everyone. Is there anyone this girl can't be nice to? Anyone she can't put first before her own needs/wants? Which we get to see first hand and Sean clearly misses.....So so selfless, this one is.

I really love her love stories. Every now and then I'll find an author who makes me want to put my hurt and bitterness aside from my divorce and try love again. J Daniels is one of those people. She makes me believe again. Even if it is fiction, the feelings still have to be based off of truth, right? Right. just let me have this ;)

It's another good one ladies. Pick it up.
