❤❤ Backstage by A.M. Madden- 4 star review ❤❤

Trey Taylor was loving life. Bass player to the world famous rock band Devil’s Lair, chicks falling to their knees at every turn, no one to be held accountable to for his actions…life rocked.

He had all he needed, food to sustain his body, sex to sustain his libido, rock to sustain his soul. For years he walked to the beat of his own drum, and made no excuses to anyone. Running and hiding can temporarily distract your fate, but it won’t derail it. Fate was coming for him, whether he liked it or not.

His past was gaining ground and threatening all the secrets he desperately tried to hide. His present was slowing him down, making him feel emotions he buried years ago. The two are about to collide. Will Trey survive the impact?

The oh so ellusive Trey Taylor. We finally finally get his story. We get his background and holy crap is it one heckuva background. This book is so filled with emotional angst, drama and steamy sexy goodness. I knew that Trey had a bad background, but NEVER NEVER did I expect that it would be that bad. I mean...that was BAD. Not only is Trey on the run, and he ran from HELL, but then when it catches up to him, my god.

AM Madden has totally stepped up her game with this book. She has written a great book that has a tons more drama, yet we still get the rock star feel. She also does an exceptional job of bouncing back and forth between past and present. Being completely written from Trey's point of view, not alot of authors can pull off a man's POV, but AM does it well. The story has a great plotline, some great twists, and flows exceptionally well.

I give this 4 stars
