❤❤ Blog Tour and Serena's 3.5 star review of Escaping Parker by F.T. Zele ❤❤

Title: Escaping Parker
Author: F.T. Zele
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Published: June 21, 2015

Clarissa never thought at age twenty-six she would be fearing for her life. Everything was going as planned, until her husband started showing a side of himself she didn’t know existed. Failed attempts at leaving him have now left her fighting for her life. Literally. She knows she has to figure out a plan to free herself from his tight grip, but it’s harder than she imagined.
Rig endured much pain after a tragedy left him trying to figure out his place in the world. He now plows through situations, leaving nothing safe in his wake. He lives for the thrill of danger and loves to be on the open road. He doesn’t mix business with pleasure, and he didn’t expect to fall in love with the girl he is hiding out.
When things get too intense between Clarissa and Rig, he decides he can no longer be her safety net. With his feelings clouding his judgment, it’s hard for him to choose between right and wrong.
Will Rig be able to figure out what he wants in time to save Clarissa’s life, or will she become another statistic of domestic abuse?

I am always drawn to books that have abuse involved. I always want to see what the author does to rectify the situation. Some authors do a great job and some not so great. I feel that F.T. Zele did a good job. She truly kept you on your toes and did a good job with character development.

I feel that Clarissa aka Parker had a lot of strength inside she didn't know she had that is until she met Rig. He brought the strength out of her. He was her one person she could trust to protect her.

F.T. Zele did a good job making you feel the things they were experiencing during their time together, but I feel what really made this a 3.5 star review was the last 25%. The last 25% made you sit at the end of your seat. It is where Clarissa realizing what she decided to do wasn't what she wanted. It made her realize she is a strong person. So that she could try and win against her abusive husband and that she could live her life with no fears.

F.T. Zele lives in Southern California with her Husband and 3 Sons. When she is not writing, you can find her on Swoon Worthy Books posting updates on books and Authors, and let’s not forget about the Man-candy. She is taking her passion for books and making it her reality with writing, bringing these voices to life. She loves interacting with others talking about great Books and Book Boyfriends. She has a weakness for Sour Patch Kids and has inappropriate fun when she is having her wine at night tweeting her thoughts. She also likes to make up words. The best word to describe her is Winetastic!
