5 star review of the BREACH series by KI Lynn

This series was by far one of the best complete series I've ever read. It was intriguing and addicting from the very first page. I was sucked in and captivated by these characters, the plot line, and the talented writing of KI Lynn. I didn't put it down until I had the WHOLE series read.

Below you will find the synopsis, Goodreads link, and my review to each book- one by one. You will find all the purchase links at the end. If you have read this series and enjoyed it as much as I did, leave a comment below with what you liked the most!

Here we go...

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Delilah Palmer has always maintained control of her life and outward personality, blocking the truth that's just below the surface. Using a façade meant to be normal and hide the scars of her childhood, she's made a good life for herself. Becoming a successful lawyer, she is finally free from the tortured past that haunts her daily. Until he comes along and breaks open the cracks.

Nathan Thorne has a haunted past of his own. On the surface, he is personable, extroverted, and loved by everyone; everything Delilah isn't. However, hidden beneath his charming smile is a dark and tormented man that only Delilah has the power to unveil.

Forced into a small office together, they begin to see through each other's masks, and the magnetic attraction ignites an explosive relationship. Their firm, Holloway and Holloway Law, has a strict non-fraternization policy, forcing them to conceal their breach. But despite their efforts, separation becomes impossible, deceptions escalate, and Nathan begins to teeter on the edge of being overtaken by his past demons.

What dark secrets does Nathan harbor that stop him from giving in, and what is it that keeps him from healing and moving forward? And more importantly, where does Delilah fit into his turmoil? Will they be able to accept love and deal with all the trials that develop as their secrets are exposed, or will they fall through the cracks of their pasts and be consumed by all that haunts them?

An exciting new romance, Breach will hook readers from the very beginning. With smoldering romance and captivating erotica, this enthralling story is perfect for all. Using shrouded secrets of the past and a combustible relationship that borders on taboo, this thrilling novel ramps up the tension and romance at every turn.

Freaking wordgasms. That's what this book is. It's so deliciously sinful with the way it's written and I couldn't help put devour every word.

The story of Nathan and Lila is so twisted and sad, but yet their relationship was kinda hot and a little beautiful. The way their need for one another took hold, how it took over. How the flames of their desire for one another just engulfed them. It was so so hot!

But let's also talk about the way they seemed to be so good for one another. And though we don't know everything, or really anything, that happened to Nathan, we still get to see what kind of man he is and what he means to Lila. How he makes her fight her own battles.

This is my first KI Lynn book. I've met her twice and am so happy to say she is one of the nicest women out there. Who knew such a devious, erotic mind came from her! I'm kinda jealous and her ability to create a relationship like this and put it to words.

5 star read for me!

He wanted her to leave him, but, in the end, he was forced to do it.

Separating himself from Lila puts Nathan in a level of hell he never knew existed. The journey is a spiraling decent where the beast inside is released and havoc reigns in the arena of self-destruction.

But what is he to do? It was for the best, after all.

The last three chapters of Breach from Nathan’s point of view.

Reading these last few chapters from Nathan's POv give me a new reason to love this broken man. He may have broke Lilas heart but we finally get a little more info on our man. We finally get a little more insight.

My heart kind of broke for him. We knew she struggled, but to see he did too. I was good. It was good to see that. Good to see he was in just as deep.

I feel like Nathan is a twist on Beauty and the Beast. He's both. Gotta be honest, I side with the beast.

Most certainly 5 stars!

Waking up in the hospital after a terrible car crash, Lila has a long road of recovery ahead of her. More than just her body, she must recover her heart after an altering declaration by Nathan. With all that happened between them she must chose to forgive him and take him back, or sever all ties. Nathan has a hard road ahead of him to earn back her trust, and doing so will open her up to the possibility of being hurt again. A possibility Lila doesn’t think she can survive. The secrets Nathan keeps buried, hidden from the world, of the life he used to lead are revealed. They tell the horror of what caused the scars on his body, mind, and heart. Can Lila and Nathan push through all of the obstacles in front of them? Will the journey be their healing, or their destruction?

This is absolutely a Fantastic freaking series!

KI Lynn had me worried there for a while that our golden couple wouldn't pull through. That the demons were too much. Too strong. I should've known better. I should've know that the fierce love these two share was stronger than any demon trying to pull them under. And those demons sure were out in full in this book. It seemed like every time they turned around something else was coming at them. Instead of breaking them, with the help of Darren, we got to see them get stronger. We got to see them grow individually and as a couple.

This was an absolute fantastic sequel to the first book. This is a must read series. Absolutely hands down a must read. Definitely 5 star material!

The final installment of the Breach Trilogy!

Things are finally looking up for Nathan and Lila. Though separated at work, their life together is just beginning.

They’re working hard to lock up Lila’s past, when Nathan’s comes knocking at the door with a gift—a warning that happiness can, and will, be taken away.

Is running away the only option to stay alive? Can they ever find the peace they deserve?

The battle for survival has begun.

I've been addicted to every single word of this series since I read Breach. And this final book does not disappoint in any way. If anything, it leaves me wanting more Lili and Nathan. It makes me left wanting to make sure these two have those dreams. That they get that happily ever after they so desperately fought for. And let's be honest, those moments where they were fighting for clarity, were hot as hell. I couldn't and wouldn't stop reading!

The growth our character had in the series seems to maybe take a few steps back in this book, but who can blame them with what happens. They go through a whole myriad of emotions. But the key to it all is what they do, they do to protect the other. And who can fault them for that. They have such a strong connection. Such a dirty but epically beautiful relationship.

I sat here reading and thinking about how I'm not supposed to like the things he says or how he talks. I'm not supposed to find it hot. But KI Lynn has written one of the best dirty talkers I think I've ever read. And good god it was dirty as hell. So hot I felt like I needed an ice pack down my pants or 20 minutes alone. Good god.

This book didn't deserve just 5 stars. Hell, the series doesn't deserve just 5 stars. It deserves far far more.

As you can tell I absolutely loved this series, from book one to the final installment in the series. I literally devoured them and went on a reading binge. It also resulted in such a book hangover. I don't know where I've been or why it took me so long to read this series, but I'm so glad I did. It is epically amazing. The whole series gets a 5+++ rating from me!
