♥♥♥ 4.5 star review of Desolation by Bella Jewel ♥♥♥

                                      Desolation

                          (Jokers' Wrath MC #4)

Pippa

The girl you all know as damaged. Quiet. Broken.
She doesn’t fit in. Nothing in her world feels right. She’s trapped in a spiral of darkness that seem to be consuming her day by day, until she sees nothing but an empty, black hole.
Her world is a dark place she can’t escape.
She has people around her who matter. Who love her. But it’s not enough. Not enough to break her out of the bitter despair she lives in.

UNTIL TYKE.

He knows pain. He knows darkness. He’s sweet. He’s kind. But most of all…
He understands her.
Combining their demons doesn’t seem like the best plan. Everyone is against them. He deserves better. She deserves better. They’ll never work. They’re too broken. Too damaged. It’s a destructive combination that will only end in heartbreak.

He’s a biker. She’s a broken angel.

But in their desolation, they find peace.

WITH EACH OTHER.

I am a huge Bella Jewel fan and a huge Jokers Wrath MC fan. Bella certainly does not disappoint with this book, but I do feel like somethings were left a little... Dangling, should we say?

For example, in the beginning Andi was such an issue. And there was clear animosity, what happened there? She's is brought up later once Tyke finally says how he feels, I can't imagine breaking up with her went smoothly.

When it came out that Maddox had overstepped and interfered. I mean come on. I was pissed for her.

But I will say I love the way Bella wrote the flashbacks to her time in captivity. How she integrated Ranier in to both past and present. It was a flawless transition.

It also wasn't lost on me that she froze that one time but never did with tyke. It was always tyke that made her feel safe. Though I'm left wondering what happened to her job and to Sophie? Did she ever get to stand up to her boss or Andi?

But overall this is a superb book. Bella has definitely hands down knocked it out of the park again. The way she wrote Pippa and how broken she is actually had me shedding tears with what she has been through. She pulled the emotions right out of me. Then when Tyke couldn't help- those are some heart breaking it wrenching scenes.

4.5 stars!
