I've never read J Kenner before, this was my first go around, and I can honestly say I'm not disappointed at all. I love how the idea for the books, what we're given as a reason for this couple ... May have some twists and turns in the plan. A revenge plan may not be as much about revenge as we think. 

I loved the way J Kenner let us see their past, and more specifically Sylvia's past and how it impacted her relationship before and her reality now. 

One thing that I felt was left hanging was her family. If her nightmares aren't really how everything happened, why doesn't she want to see her family. With the ending and that little loose end, I have a feeling there are more books in this series. And honestly, I can't wait.
