I feel like KL Kreig should be labeled queen of second chance romance. someone make her a shirt that says that. look into that. write that down.
each book in this series ive read, I didn't think I would like the next one better. starting with grey. then there was asher. then Luke. and now Conn. i mean, there was something that I loved inherently about all of them, something made each one stand out.. but the ultimate secret hit me right in the solar plexus. there were certain parts of this story that just pained me. hit a little too close to home KK.
i wish I could sit here and say I love this book because of KLs writing style. but I can't. because it's not just that. i mean, that's part of it. of course it is because it's 2am and I just binge read that book. i couldn't put it down. but that's not all. obviously if I binge read it, the storyline was also superb. the characters were awesome. the lies, betrayals, secrets, truths.. they were addictive. as sad as it is to say this, this may be my favorite of the series. gah! so sad to see the series end.
i think what makes the book even better is how amazing the author herself is. if you're havent read her before, you're truly missing out on a very gifted author
