❤❤ INTO THE BLUE (Wild Aces #2) by Chanel Cleeton Guest Review by Laramie Briscoe ❤❤

Into The Blue
By Chanel Cleeton

From the author of Fly with Me and the Capital Confessions Novels comes the newest in the sexy Wild Aces Romance series.

Eric Jansen—call sign Thor—loves nothing more than pushing his F-16 to the limit. Returning home to South Carolina after a tragic loss, he hopes to fix the mistake he made long ago, when he chose the Air Force over his fiancée.

Becca Madison isn’t quick to welcome Thor back. She can’t forget how he shattered her heart. But Thor won’t give up once he’s set his sights on what he wants—and he wants Becca.

Thor shows Becca that he’s no longer the impulsive boy he used to be, and Becca finds herself irresistibly drawn to him. But will Thor be able to walk away from his dream of flying the F-16 for their love or does his heart belong to the sky?

Fly With Me – book one in this series, has so far, been my favorite read of 2016. It has everything, hilarious women, hot guys, and the ugliest of cries.

To say my expectations were huge when I dove into this is an understatement. I had no idea what to expect though, because I knew Thor was so much different than Burn.

I was not disappointed!

Second chance romances are some of my favorite and this book delivers in a big way. It wasn’t the ugly cry of Fly With Me, it was the emotional cry you get when you watch an amazing move on TV.

Into The Blue picks up where the previous book leaves off, and everyone is trying to deal with the tragedy that’s fallen on the Wild Aces. All of the crew is dealing with it in different ways and Thor decides to go home – where he hasn’t been in years.

When he runs into the one that got away, he realizes he’ll do anything it takes to mend the heart he broke as a young kid. Getting there isn’t easy (that’s where the emotional cries come in). They are both very different people than when they dated before, and they’ve both had some experiences that changed them. I love that the book wasn’t wrapped up in a tight little bow….Chanel made the characters work for their HEA and at times you want to bash their heads together. At other’s you cry with them and almost feel the pain they feel when they’re struggling to make it work.

In the end, they do and it’s beautiful. Because what’s a romance without a HEA for the main couple?

The part that’s going to make you, as a reader, excited is when we catch up with the other Wild Aces.  Burn is slowly trying to move on with his life. But Easy, he’s gutted, and he’s struggling. And there’s a certain woman who’s struggling too….and I can’t wait to read their story!

5-stars.  If you haven’t read this, you need to run and grab it now!
