I really liked that she was a strong independent woman, a pilot, but that wasn't hte main focus. There was so much that me laugh, and it was so steamy. I loved that her dog loves him and that he adopted two kittens. Who doesn't love a man who loves cats! He wasn't your classic typical alpha, but they were just so good together. He was fixing up her house behind her back which was so sweet! Steamy and Sweet!
He did pick her over his job, which was his life. And let's not forget how good he was to his sister that had down syndrome. And he originally came to town to stay at her place when he was supposed to be on vacation but he was following a lead on a case he wasn't even supposed to be working.. can we say dedicated??
This was just the tip of the iceburg on why I loved this book and why I love Jill Shalvis and her writing!
