“Kenzie, I’m heading out. Will you be all right on your own?” I call out to her but receive no reply. Her door is ajar a few inches, so I knock, letting the force push it open further.

Let start with discussing a very touchy subject matter - abuse. This is a hard topic to discuss, let alone write about. And not only write about, but write it in such a manner that it touches you, you feel it. You hurt for Kenzie, Missy, all the women Beau helps. River didn't just write it into a book, she gave us a freakin screenplay, a mini movie. She delivered it in such a way, for me, it was like a movie playing out in my head as we read it- past and present.
Let's move on to the chemistry. I have always been a Nix fan. Always said he was my favorite. But I don't know now. Beau may have just topped Nix. And not only did my toes curl every damn time he said Darlin', but Jesus I feel like my hormones got a live wire jump start. Can you have an out of body orgasm just from reading? I think I may have. Seriously. Me saying it was hot, doesn't do it justice.
Now, still with me? Can we discuss this freaking club? I don't even want to call it that anymore. Because this club has such a bond of friendship, loyalty, and brotherhood, that club doesn't do it justice. River has given us a family. River have given us men that, as good as they were single, as epically incredible with the women who stand next to them.
Lastly, let's discuss the smooth and flawless writing style of Mrs Savage. From the minute I picked up this book, I was done for. River's writing style is always so flawless, so smooth, so addictive and Infatuation doesn't fall out of that mold. Even with the heavy topics and bumps in the road, it was still so flawless. And if you've read River before, you shouldn't be surprised. If you haven't, you may be missing out on one of the best MC writers to enter this genre within the past few years.
This was a solid 4.5 - 5 star read for me

it hard to express how I feel about this book. Please keep in mind I just
finished reading it on Sunday and
it is now Tuesday... I am in LOVE with Infatuation. I mean I absolutely love
it.
River has done an amazing job with this story. Abuse is a very rough subject and River handled it so well. Infatuation truly makes you feel so many feelings. She made me want to hurt all the men who put their hands on Kenzie, on Kelly, on Missy and every other woman who has been abused. My heart broke for them.... BUT to see the ones who have gotten away and who have been strong enough to get help made me proud of them. The fact that River could make me feel that way... It takes someone so special and so talented to handle this subject with such delicate hands. I truly applaud her for taking it on!
Now onto the hot and steamy stuff... Beau... I had my reservations about him.... He seemed so much colder then he actually is. He had such a hard shell that I absolutely loved how Kenzie got under his skin and brought out his soft side. Now don't get me wrong he is still Bad Ass. I have been a Nix girl through and through... BUT Beau has changed my mind in so many ways. I'll list a few and they may not make any sense to you now... But when you read this book you will understand why. 1) the word "Darlin" 2) Dominance 3) Beau's Beard 4) My Kind of Kink 5) Total softy inside and 6) Loves hard. Now I could truly go on, but I'll let you figure out the rest for yourself.
Now Kenzie, I love how strong she truly is, her sass. She is so sassy it's great. I love how caring she is and how she has helper Beau feel again! I also really loved how Beau made Kenzie strong again. They truly are a perfect match. They have such amazing chemistry! The sex is HOT. Like hotter then hot. Be prepared to have your panties melt....
I know that is seems like I'm a scatter brain with how I'm talking about things, but this is what happens sometimes when you love a book so much. There is one thing I want to mention and it is all about the Rebels. They truly are a family, if something happens to one, you deal with them all. They support each other 250% no matter what. They love hard and they make new family members feel welcome and loved. River is my favorite MC series writer. I can't get through a lot of them for many many reasons that I will not get into here, but if I never read another MC Series other than Rivers I'll be ok with that. If you haven't read her books yet you are missing out. This is by far her best book yet and I can only imagine that she will get better and better. I look forward to reading everything she has coming next. Thank you River for writing another 5 star read for me!
