I was determined going into this book not to cry. Nicole broke me down in book one. hard sobs. I was bound and determined not to let her win this round. ladies and gentlemen, I failed. I cried. determined not to, I did it anyway. Nicole broke my ever loving heart in this book with the loss our characters suffer. and Nicole, I want to hate you for it, but I just cant.
I immediately fell in love with Bram and Ani. from their secret romance , to the daily flights, to her snarkiness, and his assholishness, it was fabulous every time they interacted. two characters who hate to love one Another. but they Also love to love one another ...if you know what I mean.
as these two characters travel these trying times of being in a relationship, worrying how people will percieve it, how to be together, you love these two more and more. especially when you learn what Ani is giving up for her dream. you just know , this is where Nicole is slowing going to break my heart. until unexpectedly she shatters that thing. she does an amazing job of helping our characters heal , find love And move on. she also does it in a way that helps piece your hear back together.. slowly. . very slowly.
I adore this series. if you are looking for an emotional series, this is yours. pick it. read it. love it. you're welcome ;)
