❤❤ SCHOOL TIES BY TAMSEN PARKER 4 star review ❤❤

Erin Brewster is nervous enough on her first day of teaching at Hawthorn Hill. But the way Zach Shepherd looks at her with his dark and dreamy blue eyes really throws her off her game. He simply has to walk past her to send her heart racing. Although he’s eighteen and a senior, he’s still just a student—and very off limits. To let her eyes linger over his body, to fulfill her fantasies would be more than inappropriate. It would be career suicide.

Three years after his graduation from Hawthorn, Shep has returned as a member of the faculty—and he hasn’t forgotten his favorite teacher, the prettiest woman he’s ever seen. When they finally have a chance to get to know each other, they realize they share a common interest: kink. In fact, Shep has learned a lot about the subject during his time away and is ready to teach Erin a thing or two. He’ll soon have her begging to be held after class.

As their relationship comes under scrutiny, the ties that bind Shep and Erin may begin to fray. But some bonds grow stronger under pressure...

I always love reading new authors. It's like opening a present on christmas, you never know what you're going to get, but you're just happen you get something new. That's how I feel about new authors. I can't wait to play with my shiny new toy.

This book to an unexpected turn for me. I mean, teacher/student romance..ish.  Then all of the sudden we are hello BDSM. and Holy crap was that HOT! Tamsen did a great job of giving us two characters that we immediately fell in love with, especially Erin. You immediately feel for her, connect with her, want whats best for her. When you meet Shep you love the angst between them, the interactions, the pull. The desire. The chemistry...and you cant act on any of it . It upped the steam factor.

When Shep comes back, my heart kind of broke for Erin. Like she hadn't gone through enough. Shep really seems like a good guy. Especially when you learn where he's been. What he's been doing. What he escaped . Where he worked. What he learned ... and especially when he focuses all that knowledge on Erin.

I've never read Tamsen before, and I'm glad I did. I liked the book. At time, it felt a little too complicated, like there was too much going on, but really there probably wasn't. I liked her writing style, her character development and the flow of the story. And.... the sex was hot. :) Oh yeah... and that cover O_O
