❤❤ ROOKIE MOVE by Sarina Bowen 4.5 star review ❤❤

My rating: 4.5 of 5 stars

The first novel in a sexy new series featuring the hockey players of the Brooklyn Bruisers and the women who win their hearts—from the USA Today bestselling author of the Ivy Years series.

In high school they were the perfect couple—until the day Georgia left Leo in the cold...

Hockey player Leo Trevi has spent the last six years trying to do two things: get over the girl who broke his heart, and succeed in the NHL. But on the first day he’s called up to the newly franchised Brooklyn Bruisers, Leo gets checked on both sides, first by the team’s coach—who has a long simmering grudge, and then by the Bruisers’ sexy, icy publicist—his former girlfriend Georgia Worthington.

Saying goodbye to Leo was one of the hardest things Georgia ever had to do—and saying hello again isn’t much easier. Georgia is determined to keep their relationship strictly professional, but when a press conference microphone catches Leo declaring his feelings for her, things get really personal, really fast....

I've never read Sarina Bowen before, so this was my first leap into Bowenland.. and boy am I glad I did. I was sucked right into this story from the first paragraph of the first chapter. Leo and Georgia...history..love..second chance love? YES PLEASE

This story was nothing short of hot, sexy, steamy, funny and down right addictive. Ms Bowen is a down right amazing writer. Good lord. Not only did she suck me in, but dear lord did she wrap me up in this book. It was like all I could do was tune everything out and read this book.

I loved the history between the characters, the battles they fought to get back together. I loved the way that Leo would do little things for her, on accident, and embarrass himself. How he had to fight not only for her, but her dad for his spot on the team. To prove himself, to her and her dad, his coach. Not only that, lord have mercy does Sarina know how to bring the steam. Whew buddy.

Sarina Bowen is an author that I am oh so glad I've been introduced to. She is one that I will definitely pick up again. Hands down, addictive. I feel like she is an author that everyone needs to be introduced to.
