okay let me start by saying this... I didn't like it. not one bit. I didn't like that ... IT WAS TOO SHORT! and I didn't like it, I LOVED IT!
Oh dear lord. I loved how Lilliana delivered this story. I loved it from the first page of the prologue to the last word of the last chapter. Every single bit of this story was addictive. Jilted ex-lovers, demons from the past, busy body gossips, angsty love.. so much is happening. And let's not forget the Mackenzie family.
I felt like Liliana painted this horrible picture for Marnie. This horrible home life. Then LH sat back wondering how she could get our hopes up, just to shred them. I also felt like Liliana did an amazing job of building those hopes we had for Marnie back up. Hoping that she can have that future she deserves. But I loved what she did with Beckett- the boy he was and the man he became.
Let's just say this, this books proves Liliana is a force to be reckoned with in the romance genre. Not many authors can write a book you refuse to put down til it's over.. LH does. hands down. this one doesn't disappoint
