In the new Play-By-Play novel by the New York Timesbestselling author of All Wound Up, a football hot shot and his best friend’s sister are breaking all the rules.
All the Right Moves
For Barrett Cassidy, playing defense for the Tampa Hawks is a dream come true. And now he may have discovered his dream woman. Harmony Evans, once the sweet, gawky teenage sister of his best friend and teammate has grown into a smart, gorgeous woman with moves he finds hard to resist. But he knows he can’t get involved with his best friend’s sister—it’s guy code.
Harmony has always gone after what she wants with single-minded determination, from her independence to her education to her career in social work. She never expected her youthful crush on Barrett to develop into something deeper. And she’s not about to let some ridiculous man rules or her brother stand in her way.
When the chemistry is this combustible, lines tend to get crossed. And when Barrett and Harmony’s secret gets out, it just might be game over...

I thought this love story was cute. I found myself riding the highs and feeling the frustration just like Harmony. but I also loved the aspect of the story that Barret and her brother were best friends and teammates. another aspect of reality they had to take into consideration.
The story flowed okay to me, it seemed to drag out in parts. Like sentences were drug out when they could have been shortened, making the conversation almost sound robotic. And I felt some words or phrases Harmony uses in the intimate times may have been overused a little. I get Barret liked it, but I felt like it was a tad repetitive.
All in all this was a good book. I loved how Harmony went after what she wanted and made no excuses for being upfront with how she felt. How Barrett loved that about her. It takes a strong man to love a strong woman, and for a while I was not sure if Barrett was going to be strong enough. Good to see Jaci whip him into shape and had him come to his senses, she had me nervous for a while.
It was a 3 star read for me.
