Wow that is the first thing when I picked up this book, I love second chance romances especially when unexpected circumstances are the reason for why the couple couldn't be together.
Joseph and Kasey randomly run into each other one day five years after being apart for each other, but Kasey has been hiding something from him for that long. Joseph is shocked and angry, Kasey thinks Joseph didn't want their daughter and after all this time they learn the truth about how and why they were kept apart.
Just when things start to look up for the couple, Kasey learns that Joseph must leave again and he has been keeping secrets of his own. I enjoyed this story and watching this couple struggle to over come their pasts, things thrown in their way to continue to keep them apart but find a way to start a new future together as a family like they should have been allowed to begin with.
