Affliction by River Savage
Book 2 in the Knights Rebels Series
~*~* BLURB *~*~
Three little words
are all it takes to rip his world apart. Lost in his own affliction, Sy has
been living in a darkness that he doesn't ever want to let go of.
Until she arrives
and shines her light so bright that nothing else mattered.
She was only in it
for the chase, for the thrill of capturing the unattainable.
But what happens
when her world shatters around her, spiraling her into the darkness beside him?
Can his affliction
be her resurrection?
Or will two lost
souls living in the depths of deception let it destroy them?
~*~* SERENA'S REVIEW *~*~
Let me
tell you, this book is all emotion. If you read Incandescent you got a hot,
dirty, sexy, love story. Affliction is a different story, don't get me wrong
there are some hot sex scenes, but it's more about the feelings and emotions
that both Sy and Holly are fighting and living with.
River
makes you truly feel the heartbreak that happens to both Holly and Sy and I'm
not even talking about romantic heartbreak. Sy's past has truly
molded him into the quiet man he is, however Holly has brought him out of his
shell and I love the man he ends up being. As for Holly she truly becomes the
Holly she was but better. She went through so much that broke her, but Sy
helped her be stronger!
If you
are looking for an amazing written story about hot men and strong women, this
is the series you should read. River has made me an MC lover and I cannot wait
to continue with her Knights Rebels Series. If you have read Incandescent you
need this book! If you haven't read either what are you WAITING for? Buy it,
you won't be disappointed. Another 5 star book on my list!!!
~*~* SHANNON'S REVIEW *~*~
This story left me speechless and
wanting more. I thought Nix was hot in the first book of this series but Sy
definitely beats him in the sex and sin department he is hot enough to make
your panties melt.
Both Sy and Holly have their demons to
face in order for them to be together. What Sy doesn't know about Holly could
ultimately destroy them in the end; even after all they had to overcome to be
together. Between the two of them they have suffered heartbreak and loss but
their love for one another is what helps hold them together throughout this
story.
I loved everything about this story it’s
real, raw and rough around the edges, exactly what you need to make you feel as
if you are living the story on the pages not just reading it to pass some time.
