CONFESS
BY COLLEEN HOOVER
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, a new novel about risking everything for love—and finding your heart somewhere between the truth and lies.
Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there’s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.
For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover that Owen is keeping some major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.
The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can’t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin…

I really did love this book, I loved love loved how CoHo tied absolutely everything tied together. How every aspect of their pasts was tied together. This was another prime example of how everything matters. God I love when she writes like this!
I was immediately pulled into this story and just sucked right in. I love that CoHo didn't really giveaway Auburn's situation right off the bat, there was almost a little bit of mysteriousness to it. It took some time before we find out the full situation she is in, and who Lydia is. I love that build up. I also loved the way that Owen ties into the story and everything with his past and present ties in. I love what he did for his father and more-so, what his father does for Auburn. I felt like I took this rollercoaster ride with Auburn. I felt like my heart broke for her. Then I was frustrated because of the situation she was in just to spend more time with someone. Then the strength she had to fight back. It was such an up and down ride and so ultimately beautiful by the end.
I think this is one of the best books that CoHo has written. There wasn't one moment of reading this that I wanted to put it down, that I wasn't guessing what was next. I was totally sucked in and involved and didn't want to put it down.
My confession is... i loved this book and gave it 4.5 stars
