okay you want my rating, my reaction? right now, the minute I finished the book? it was just ... okay. and I love love love Bella Jewel. I've read all her books and adore her writing, but something about this one was just.. okay. not the normal 'oh my god I devoured it' reaction.
I loved her writing style, liked the characters. maybe it was the comingling? maybe it was the bully. maybe it was the push and pull of our H/h. usually just one pushes the other away, in Drifter they both do it. I don't know. just something about it didn't hit me in the feels like normal. though I did totally love her ballsy attitude, Taj and Shay.
I don't know what it was, I can't place my finger on it. it was just okay, which kind of burns to write. I don't know... I have to keep sitting on this . possibly even put myself in a timeout.
