❤❤4.5 star review of DIRTY by Kylie Scott ❤❤

My rating: 4-4.5 of 5 stars

The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower, let alone the drama and chaos that comes with her.

Lydia Green doesn't know whether to burn down the church or sit and cry in a corner. Discovering the love of your life is having an affair on your wedding day is bad enough. Finding out it's with his best man is another thing all together. She narrowly escapes tying the knot and meets Vaughan only hours later.

Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessman she thought she'd marry. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and unsettled. But she already tried Mr. Right and discovered he's all wrong-maybe it's time to give Mr. Right Now a chance.

After all, what's wrong with getting dirty?

DIRTY was one of those books where you're reading and reading and look down and realize you're at 85% and the book is almost over. and you're kinda of struck with this desire for it to not be close to ending.

I loved Vaughan and all his dirty dirty glory. I also love Lydia and her perfect imperfections. I loved that she was real. she wasnt a stick thin model type. and I loved that her insecurities were real, something most of us could relate to. I also loved her humor. I loved her right hook.

I'm not gonna lie and say Vaughan was the perfect male. he can be an ass, depending on the circumstances. but he always listened when she explained, and found a way to apologize like a man.

the secondary characters in this book were awesome, in all their effed up glory. their storyline was drama filled and insane... and addictive.

Kylie did a great job with dirty. cant to see where she takes us with this series.

I gave this between 4-4.5 stars
