Creighton really takes the cake not only for being a stubborn arrogant asshole, but also for just being so damn dominant. And for real, can we take a minute to thank Meghan for giving us this character? Because let's be honest ladies, he's going to make your book boyfriend list. Probably even the top. He's . Just. That. Good.
I devoured this book. And by devoured I mean I hung on every word and didn't put it down til it was over. I loved the way Creighton thought- how possessive and sure he was. Then Holly was the complete opposite and they just seemed to balance each other out so well. She is the vulnerability and soft side he didn't know he needed and he was the demanding dominant she needed. Pieces meet puzzle. So perfect.
Now let's discuss the writing style. It was just effortless, so smooth, so intriguing and addicting. Meghan did absolutely fantastic with this new series. I didn't think I could love anything more than her Beneath series, and boy was I wrong. I feel like this series may have just knocked the other out of the park. I don't think even 5 stars can convey how much I loved this book. I think I might just go back and read it a second, and probably third time.
