❤❤ Royal Blood by Amity Cross - 4.5 star review ❤❤

A hit gone wrong, an impossible contract, revenge and the ultimate kicker... falling in love.

Mercy Reid is a runner.

She found the perfect place to hide, until it wasn't.

Xavier "X" Blood always gets what he wants.

He had the perfect arrangement, until it wasn't.

X is the mysterious tough guy from Royal Blood MC who gets shit done. Cross the Club and you get a visit from X. Only one person walks away at the end of it...and it isn't you.

Mercy is hiding something. Something big. Looking to get lost, she runs from one hopeless situation right into the clutches of a monster.

When X and Mercy meet, something more electrifying than sparks fly. Something dangerous, passionate and forbidden.

When you deal in death, there's only one way things can end...

Or is there?

Warning: If you like sparkly unicorns and hearts, Royal Blood IS NOT for you. If you like dark twisty anti-heroes and heart stopping roller coasters, Royal Blood IS for you. If you like teddy bears and kittens with whiskers, Royal Blood IS NOT for you. If you like unapologetic alpha males that talk dirty, Royal Blood IS for you. You have been warned.

So I went into this book without reading the synopsis. I wanted to go into it totally blank, having no expectations. Let me tell you this.... Best decision ever. This book totally took me by surprise. It was absolutely amazing. It was such a twister erotic roller coaster ride. Of course, amity left us hanging on that precipice of not knowing what happens next and dying to find out.

She did such an amazing great job of sucking you into this story and making you love such a dark character in X. Little did X know, mercy was his match. And now, we're all left wondering what he's going to do about it. How will the monster handle his mate? How will he handle all those chasing them now?

This book was so unbelievably good. I have so many questions about X, I'm sure Amity will answer in book two. The flow is perfect and the storyline is so fabulous, and original. So unbelievably good. I have absolutely no complaints about this book. I loved the dark, I loved the feel, I love her writing style.

I give it 4.5 stars
